I’ve been MIA for the past two months and I guess from reading the title of my blog post, you already have a clue why. I traveled with my family and relatives. This awesome vacation was a graduation gift from my parents. Gosh, I can never thank them enough for everything!

So, yes, I spent almost two months (7 weeks) in the USA, specifically in NYC. What I want to do now, is to bring these places to you. I hope I can make you see through my own eyes. Our first week revolved around shopping malls (our destination for the first day), museums and iconic sites.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) steps where Blair, Serena and their friends usually hang out during the first seasons of Gossip Girl.

Pictures from the European Sculpture and Decorative Arts Department. I love the period rooms. Their intricate details are absolutely beautiful. However, if you are a minimalist, you’ll like the ones from the American Wing better (next 4 photos).

Of course, we also went to the Asian Art Department.

Oh, Egyptian Art. I don’t know why, but I’m very interested about Egypt – it’s history, culture, art, etc.

What is that instrument? Hmm.

If you’re wondering if I made any friends while I was there, the answer is yes. As a matter of fact, the next set of photos is dedicated to them (all taken in Madame Tussauds).
